Why did you get a Human Design Reading?
A friend mentioned it and I was so intrigued! I I love getting to know and understand myself better.
Why did you become a Human Design Reader?
There was this sudden pull towards Human Design – it was a burning desire that I couldn’t ignore.
Initially I studied it to understand more about myself and my kids, but what I was learning was so incredibly helpful in my day to day life that I realised this was something that would be of great value to everyone.
What were your first thoughts on Human Design?
Ha! Funnily enough, I hated it. My first report confused me – it was so overwhelming and complex. I just didn’t get it. I tucked it in a drawer and forgot about it for awhile.
It makes me laugh how many times it came into my awareness and I resisted it! Until of course the timing was right and I couldn’t ignore the signs or intense feeling to know more.
What changed your mind about the power of Human Design?
The right person, with the right information at the right time – AND who delivered the content in a way that suited me.
When I understood it and could apply it to my everyday – that’s when I fell in love with it. I think there was also an internal shift of going “oh this isn’t something I have to do” this is a beautiful manual of how I work.
What problems has Human Design helped you with?
So many! In the early days, it helped me realise why I find it hard to stick to one thing, unpacking issues with being indecisive and avoiding conflict, harsh judgements about myself, and realising my own personal bias on people and the world.
It also helped me understand why I would go through these intense periods of frustration and internal anger and how to work with them.
What do you love most about Human Design?
Human Design has given me this beautiful language to use to understand myself – my gifts, strengths, characteristics, tripwires, even the things that I think about and how to reframe them in a healthier way. It really is an insightful check-in tool and guide to broadening my mind, deepening my reflection process and providing ideas to play and experiment with in my life.
How can people get in touch with you about Human Design?
I offer a free Human Design Chart on my website so that you can get a glimpse of what it’s all about. However I highly recommend booking one of my Human Design Readings so you can really understand your design and how to work with it.
